  19. I'm glad to announce a NEW and very MUCH enhanced release of 'AddressAssist'
  20. (AA). Since its first published version, many new features have been added 
  21. - also due to many suggestions of the users, thank you! - to make AA
  22. one of the BEST address managment programs in the AMIGA world of computing!
  23. And more features will follow!

  25. AA ist designed to be a very easy to use, but yet powerful
  26. address managment program for use at work, at home, in clubs etc.
  27. or combined.

  29. Take a look at the some of the most important features:

  31.    * 14 field address database including 4 user definable text fields
  32.      (new in release 2: 2nd 'Name'-field and an all new 'Group'-field
  33.      to distinguish up to 10 address groups).

  35.    * Very nice and intuitive user interface based on MUI (which makes
  36.      it size and font sensible, 3.1 compatible)
  37.  
  38.    * Two types of database/record view: the database List view provides
  39.      easy overview and access while the record Form view enlights the
  40.      record's details

  42.    * Powerful printing-interface for output address lists and labels by
  43.      providing user definable and flexible output format: output text
  44.      style and format; new for release 2: user definable record field
  45.      ordering and field length definitions for list printing. Ability
  46.      to load and save specific printer setup.

  48.    * Ability to define selections. Selection may be printed and
  49.      exported separately. Powerful filters to define : field string
  50.      match and group match filters are provided for include, exclude or
  51.      toggle records to or from a selection.

  53.    * Powerful database sort feature, possibility to use several index
  54.      as well as sort in up- or downward direction

  56.    * Flexible Import/Export filters for ASCII files with user definable
  57.      file format: new in release 2: user definable record field

  97. address managment program and ** free from rights of thirds **, please sent 
  98. them to the author until 15 July 1995. The best icon will be used in program
  99. distribution, and of course the artist will get a licence for AddressAssist.

  105. Localized under WB2.1 and above. Built-in English language, german
  106. and norsk catalog translations as well as  empty catalog description
  107. file provided. Documentation in english and german.
  108. To spread AA all over the world, it would be nice to support as many languages
  109. as possible. If you are interested in providing a catalog file translation and 
  110. a short readme file for AddressAssist in your own language, please contact the
  111. author.
